As the AAP govt in Delhi completes one month in power, its political opponents criticised it for “failing on several fronts”.

Leader of the BJP legislature party Vijender Gupta said the Arvind Kejriwal government had failed on several fronts as even after a month, Delhi was still waiting for ‘anti-corruption helpline’ promised during the election campaign.

“The government has been making bogus announcements. It said that orange category factories don’t need to take pollutionfree certification. But legally this is not allowed,” he said.

On the other hand, Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken said 30 days’ time was too short to judge a government. “It has just been one month since AAP has come to power and 30 days is too less to evaluate the performance of the government, especially when the CM himself has been out for last 10 days,” the Congress leader said adding that perhaps due to this reason (absence of Kejriwal) the budget of Delhi had been postponed.

Amid the controversy over the graduation degree of Delhi law minister Jitender Singh Tomar, Gupta on Friday demanded his immediate dismissal.

“A moral scandal has surfaced as Faizabad’s Dr RML Avadh University has in a letter sent to Bar Council of Delhi told that graduation degree on the basis of which Delhi minister Tomar took admission in a LLB course was bogus. The university denied issuing any graduation degree to him,” he said.
