National carrier Air India on Wednesday said it has resumed ticket bookings for select routes till May 8.
"Our tickets are available till May 8 on select routes. We had earlier stopped booking to ensure that no backlog remains with the airline," a senior airline official said.
According to the official, the airline will operate four flights on major metro routes in addition to some 100-odd flights of its sister concern Alliance Air.
"The decision to operate only four flights, that too on the metro routes, was taken after a new operations plan which came into effect today (Wednesday)."
The flag carrier said that information on flight operations and schedules is available on its website.
