All out war on CD: Amar Singh takes on Bhushans

Hours after member of the Lokpal Bill drafting committee Shanti Bhushan filed a contempt petition in the Supreme court against former Samajwadi Party general secretary Amar Singh, the former SP leader lashed out against Bhushans and dared Shanti Bhushan to give voice sample.

In a press conference on Monday, Amar Singh questioned forensic test run on CD by Bhushans. He dared Bhushans and said that if the Bhushans have proof they should show it.

He said that there were four or five versions of CD that exists.

Questioning Anna Hazare's supporters, Amar Singh claimed that Hazare's letter to Sonia Gandhi was drafted by others.

Earlier today, Amar Singh handed over a copy of the controversial CD to the Delhi Police and said many members in the team of veteran social activist Anna Hazare were tainted.

"I have complete proof. Many in Hazare''s team are tainted. I have submitted four sets of audio CDs to the police," Singh told reporters outside the Indraprashtha Police Station here.

On Sunday, Shanti Bhushan's son Prashant Bhushan said that he suspected that Amar Singh was involved in the fabrication of the CD of the conversation between his father, Amar Singh and Mulayam Singh, confirmed that the CD was doctored.

He also said that the forensic analysis of the CD confirmed that the CD was doctored.
