Annual day at Bal Bharati, GRH Marg

Bal Bharati Public School, Ganga Ram Hospital Marg, celebrated its Annual Day recently. Shri BV Selvaraj, principal secretary, the Delhi government, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Kathak exponent, Gitanjali Lal, was the Guest of Honour and theatre personality Lushin Dubey was the special guest. Principal LV Sehgal delivered the welcome address. An audio visual presentation highlighted the achievements of the school and its students in 2011- 12. About 165 students received prizes for scholastic and co- scholastic achievements. School manager Shri JC Ajmani proposed the vote of thanks. An enthralling cultural programme and an exhibition of art and craft showcasing the creativity and imagination of students were also organised.

Amity International School, Sector 43,Gurgaon, celebrated its junior annual day. The programme commenced with the invocation ceremony. Vice-principal Vishakha Chitnis appraised all with the achievements of the students in fields ranging from academics, sports and extra-curricular activities. The entire junior school participated in the music and dance performance called The Pearls of Amity which was a depiction of a string of episodes glorifying friendship. Sangeeta Nayak, wife of CMD, Powergrid, presided over the function as the Guest of Honour. The Chief Guest, Divya Chauhan, appreciated the splendid performance of the students .

Maharaja Agarsain Public School, Ashok Vihar, celebrated its 35th Founder's Day. The occasion was graced by Shri Prem Sagar Goel, Madan Lal Mittal and Mahender Bansal along with other members of Aggarwal Welfare Society.

The programme started with lamp lighting and Ganesh Vandana followed by the dance performance, Colours of Festivals. Meritorious students were awarded. The principal Punam Gupta gave the vote of thanks.

Students of DLF Public School, Ghaziabad, enacted the wisdom of the Vedas in modern context through 'Navras', the musical masterpiece on the recognition day. The school chairman Rakesh Khullar, executive director Dr Mrignaini and principal, Seema Jerath extended a hearty welcome to the Chief Guest Dr. Aruna Broota, clinical psychologist. Winners in different domains were recognised, applauded and motivated to continue succeeding in all their endeavors.
