A 63-year-old Australian businessman was found dead at Mosaic Hotel room in Noida Sector 18 on Saturday afternoon.

“Today afternoon when hotel staff found no response at room number 302 they informed the management. Through the duplicate key they opened the door and found the man dead on the bed. They immediately informed the police,” said Vijay Prakash, SHO, Sector 20 police station.

“The deceased has been identified as Michal Tuk. He was a resident of Sydney, Australia. He had come to the hotel on August 25. He was a businessman dealing in export and import of garments,” said Prakash.

“His body has been sent for post-mortem. It appears to be a natural death due to brain hemorrhage. However, post-mortem report will reveal the exact cause of death,” said Prakash.

“Australian High Commission in India has been informed about the incident. Post-mortem report and other details would be sent later,” the SHO added, saying, “We are also investigating about the persons who had met him. Through their interrogations foul play if any could be known.”
