A 41-year-old auto rickshaw driver accused a woman passenger of sexually assaulting him at a flat in South Delhi’s Arjun Nagar while her friend, an African national, filmed the act.

The driver, who fractured both his legs, said he jumped off the flat on first floor to escape.

He told the police that the passenger asked him to drop her at Arjun Nagar. On the way, she borrowed Rs 300 from him to buy some things and said she would return it on reaching home. She then invited the driver to her flat on the pretext of paying him.

After offering him water to drink, the woman and her flatmate locked the doors from inside and allegedly sought sexual favours from the driver which he denied, the police said.“The women then offered him wine which he again refused to take. Frustrated, she forced herself on him, tore his clothes and kissed him while her roommate filmed the whole act,” said an officer.

The women had also robbed him of his money, driving licence, badge and tore off his clothes when he refused to drink alcohol, he said.

“After about an hour, when the two women went to the other room for a discussion, the driver jumped out of the first floor balcony and fractured his legs,” the officer said.

A taxi driver spotted the injured driver and informed the police control room. He was then rushed to a hospital.

“Everybody at the hospital, including senior officers, was shocked when the auto driver told them about the cause of his injury,” said the police officer.

Cops said the driver’s shirt, slippers and other belongings were recovered from the flat. The woman who took him to the flat was arrested, while the other woman is on the run, police said.
