Ousted AAP leader Prashant Bhushan on Tuesday took another dig at Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and challenged him for an open debate in a radio advertisement.
Bhushan in the advertisement says: “Few days ago, Arvind Kejriwal passed the Jan Lokpal Bill in the Delhi cabinet and claimed that he has lived up to his promise to the people. But I don’t think so. I invite him for an open debate at any public place so that it can be decided who is lying.”

The Aam Aadmi Party was also quick to retaliate with senior party leader Ashish Khetan taking up the challenge for the debate and also questioning Bhushan’s ideological change through a series of tweets on Tuesday morning.
“While Prashant Bhushan ji played big role in exposing 2G & coal scam, he needs to answer a few questions about his politics in last 1 year,” (SIC) Khetan had tweeted.
Accepting the challenge Khetan also tweeted: “I am willing to have a public debate with both @_YogendraYadavj ji & @pbhushan1 ji on Jan Lokpal Bill, 2015.(SIC)”
Bhushan, however, brushed aside Khetan’s response and alleged that Kejriwal was running away from the debate.
“AK who authored JanLokpal Bill with me in team Anna scared to debate #AAPKaJokePal with me. Props up Ketan who was nowhere in IAC movement!. (SIC),” Bhushan tweeted.
Bhushan along with Yogendra Yadav, Ajit Jha and Anand Kumar were ousted from AAP earlier this year and have since formed a rebel group called Swaraj Abhiyan.
