Residents of the posh DLF City don't feel safe in their homes as their colony has become a major crime scene, of late. In a fresh incident, three motorcycle-borne armed youths smash windowpanes of a SX4 car with liquor bottle in the presence of security guard and sped away on Tuesday night.

The terrorised family has rushed to the police, seeking security. "We woke up early morning when our servant told us that the car has been hit. We thought somebody must have accidentally hit our car, but when we came out it turned out to be something else," Aman Singh of DLF Phase 1 said.

The windscreen of the car was smashed with a vodka bottle. "After we called the security control room, the guards told us that three motorcycle-borne men had come around midnight and threatened our guard that they would settle an old score with the car owners," Singh added. The guards said, "Three men came around midnight and threatened me. They then told me to inform the owner of the car that this was their revenge for abusing their father."

The guard ran to the control room to bring his colleagues. By the time the guards returned, the assailants had fled the scene.
