The alleged terrorist arrested for Delhi High Court bomb blast has told the court that he would co-operate with the National Investigating Agency (NIA) in its probe.
Jammu and Kashmir native Amir Abbas Dev was produced in court on Friday. Special NIA judge HS Sharma remanded Dev to the custody of the agency till October 7 on the plea of the investigators.
Dev, during the in-camera proceedings, told the court that he would co-operate in the probe. Later, the counsel for Dev told journalists that he was arrested on September 16 at Kishtwar on the basis of a statement of co-accused Hussain.
The agency told the court that Dev was involved in sending e-mails to media houses, claiming responsibility of the blast on behalf of banned terror outfit Harkat ul-Jihad al-Islami (HuJI).
