Bovines hospitalise man, son-in-law

While Jindal was attacked in Ballabgarh by a bull on January 15, Charan Singh, 66, suffered the same fate on Sunday.
The incident took place just outside the Sarvodaya Hospital in Faridabad when Charan Singh, on his way to see his son-in-law, saw a cow attacking two women and rushed to their rescue. The cow turned and attacked him, leaving him with a couple of broken ribs and multiple injuries.
Charan Singh’s son, Rajan Mittal, said some people rushed his father to the hospital.
Rajan Mittal said, “A written complaint was given to the police after we came to know that a police official had also been attacked by the cow earlier.”
“It is strange that my father experienced what my brother-in-law went through,” Rajan said. “My brother-in-law suffered a deep head injury when a bull attacked him in Ballabgarh and is admitted to the ICU of the same hospital,” he said.
“We registered a complaint against the cow when the family members and members of resident welfare association approached us with a written complaint,” Harish Kumar, Incharge, Sector 8 Police Post, told HT.
The cow has reportedly been picked up by the authorities of the Municipal Council of Faridabad and sent to a cattle pound.
