There is no deadline for the completion of repair work on the Airport Metro Express corridor, said minister Kamal Nath on Friday.
“The repair work has started on the Airport Line. We will get back to you on the progress. But we cannot give any deadline for its completion,” Nath told reporters.
Earlier the UD ministry had given two consecutive deadlines — August 31 and September 20 — for the reopening of the high-speed metro service.
Metro services on the corridor was suspended on July 8 after the Delhi Airport Metro Express Pvt Ltd, the concessionaire of the line noticed major damages in the civil structure and brought it to DMRC’s notice.
