Just hours after a firing incident on a tourist vehicle near the Jama Masjid in the walled city in New Delhi, a car caught fire only 15 metres away from the spot due to a CNG cylinder blast.
Police said the two incidents are not related.
The Maruti-800 car caught fire due to a compressed natural gas cylinder blast, they said, adding no one was injured in the incident.
Two fire tenders were rushed to the spot, which doused the flames soon.
