Delhiites are set to have a pleasant Holi on Thursday as the sky is expected to remain clear and the temperature comfortable. Wednesday saw a pleasant morning followed by a warm and sunny day.
The day’s maximum temperature was a notch above average at 29 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature was 13.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below average. The day’s maximum humidity was recorded at 88 per cent while the minimum at 26 per cent.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather will remain similar on Holi with clear and sunny skies. “The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 28 and 11 degrees Celsius, respectively,” said an official.
Tuesday’s maximum temperature was 29.1 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was 19.5 degrees Celsius, seven notches above normal.
On Sunday, Delhiites sweated as the temperature climbed to 32.7 degree Celsius, a significant six degrees above normal. Parts of the city such as Palam witnessed a temperature of 34 degrees Celsius.
