Indraprastha International School ,Dwarka hosted a celestial event 'The Transit of Venus' recently . The students of Astronomy Club conducted the event along with Centre for Student Excellence in Astronomy and Space Sciences.

Nearly 400 parents and students of the school, attended the observation. The highlight of the event was the planet Venus which was shown to all using safe viewing techniques like ballprojector, telescopic projection.

As a part of the French Exchange Programme , a group of French students and two French teachers visited DPS, Rohini. They were welcomed by an Indian classical dance performance by Anusha Katoch and a French song by Kavya Jalan and Ahana Bose. The
French students attended
sessions on art and heritage of India.The programme was a wonderful experience for the French learners and the accompanying teachers, Suman Dheer and Aparna Bajaj.

Bal Bharati Public School, Dwarka has started a community outreach programme in association with an NGO 'Anugraha'. Recently, they
organised a visit to the special school wherein they distributed books and clothes to the underprivileged children. The
students also undertook a cleanliness drive near the slums.

Twelve students and two teachers from Navy Children School, Chanakyapuri along with sixty other students and teachers from different schools went to Hong Kong to observe the annular solar eclipse. The students are a part 'Eclipse Chasers' who go to observe different types of eclipses. The students also got an opportunity to interact with the Consulate General of India in Hong Kong.
