Delhi girls would now learn French tips for beauty treatment. The Delhi government has decided to enter into a partnership with an agency in France to teach the latest in beauty treatment to the women in the Capital. The Cabinet on Tuesday approved a proposal to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chanel and Company of Paris to upgrade the skills of the women who study beauty treatment in the government owned Meerabai polytechnic in the city.
The MoU on academic collaboration aims at contributing in upgrading the skills, education and training in cosmetics and fragrance. Talking to reporters, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit said the diploma course in beauty culture would be made comprehensive to make it more employment oriented.
The Meerabai polytechnic has been collaborating with Paris Based agency Chanel and Company from 2004 onwards. The French company has set up a trust for aesthetic and research for promotion and dissemination of knowledge in the field of beauty culture.
