The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X results were declared on Saturday in which private schools recorded a pass percentage of 95.43. Government and government-aided schools recorded a pass percentage at 89.13 and 83.56, respectively, in the Delhi region.

Data released by the CBSE says Kendriya Vidyalayas and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalas in the Delhi region have performed the best this year’s examinations.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) have a pass percentage of 100, followed by KVs which had a pass percentage of 99.52.

As many as 2,850,30 students appeared for the exam in Delhi region of which 2,615,34 pass, taking the overall pass percentage to 91.76 this year. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 92.57. Boys had a pass percentage of 91.

Springdales School, Pusa Road, recorded a 100% pass percentage with 47 students scoring 10 CGPA out of the total 203 who appeared for the exams. At DPS, Vasant Kunj, out of total 279 students, 73 scored 10 CGPA while at Mount Abu Public School, Rohini Sector-5, 40 students scored 10 CGPA.

Students across Delhi had complained of the CBSE website being down for over an hour after the results were announced on Saturday. The website was restored later.

In the CBSE Class 12 results announced last week, Delhi’s government schools had outperformed private schools. The pass percentage in government schools was 88.98 against 86.67 in private schools. Girls performed better than boys in the national capital then too, with a pass percentage of 91.71. The pass percentage of boys in Delhi was 82.51.

1,68,541 students across the country have scored a perfect 10 CGPA score in CBSE class X exam of whom 85,316 are boys and 83,225 are girls. Girls have a pass percentage of 96.36 as against boys who had a pass percentage of 96.11.
