On expected lines sans any surprise -- this was how the students who appeared for the CBSE Class X Social Science paper on Friday summed up their experience in exam halls.

Lakhs of students appeared for the test across the country. The exams began on March three.

"All the questions were as per the syllabus. The questions were to the point and precise. I did not find any difficulty to answer them," said Kashif, a student of Sommerville Valley School here.

He said he could write the answers much before time.

Similar was the response of Samarth Narayan, a student of DPS, Noida. "It was not difficult as it was on expected lines. Most of the questions were direct. I did not run out of time," said Samarth.

Kumar Anshu, a student of DAV Public School, also said, "the questions were easier than I expected."

Now, with the Social Science paper over and the Mathematics exam scheduled for March 11, some of the students are taking a break for a day.

"I will get back to studies tomorrow only. I will play cricket and watch some TV before I start revising for Maths paper," said Abhishek Gupta, a student of Laxman Public School.
