Charging Telecom Minister A Raja of being the "emperor of scams", AIADMK on Wednesday said it was for the Congress to choose between its ally DMK and its image and survival.
"Telecom Minsiter A Raja is emperor of scams and he should be dismissed immediately. The CAG report submitted yesterday has clearly shown the loot of Rs 1,76,000 crore in the 2G spectrum allocation," AIADMK leader V Maitreyan told reporters.
"Whatever may be the coalition compulsions, Congress has to choose which is more crucial, the survival of their government and image or the ally. Now the onus is on the Prime Minister to chose whether he is going to put an ally before the survival of his own government."
Senior JD(U) leader and MP NK Singh said after the CAG report and the Supreme Court observations, the Government must come out to dispel doubts on the matter where the Government had to suffer a very big loss of revenue.
"This could turn out to be the biggest scandals in post-independence India," he added.
