Taking the social media ‘war-game’ against the Gujarat chief minister to a higher level, Congressmen have launched a dedicated website: http://www.fekuexpress.com/ , for an online game to nail Modi’s “lies”.
The name fekuexpress draws heavily from the latest SRK flick and the game promises free tickets to the flick to all winners.
The game provides a list of alleged false claims made by Narendra Modi during some of his speeches. It then asks the participants to bet on which of these “lies” the BJP’s chief campaigner for the 2014 polls will repeat during his next public interface.
The online game, launched a couple of days ago, have already registered 35962 hits. The entire ‘game-plan’ has been executed by Congress associates who regularly provide informal vital support for the party to take on the BJP in the social media. But even top Congress leaders have now come out to promote the game, like party general secretary Digvijaya Singh tweeted on Monday.
The social media support team of the Congress had coined #feku on Twitter for the first time last April to counter Modi during his speech at the FICCI event. The BJP also used #pappu to take a dig at Rahul Gandhi.
“The idea is to show the hollowness of Modi’s speeches through an entertaining medium,” said a key associate involved in the project.
