Stuck in a traffic jam on the BRT corridor, have you ever wondered why the government built it at all? You’ll get the answer if you participate in the ‘Climate Bicycle and Bus Ride programme’ to be organised by the Delhi Cycling Club (DCC) in June.
The programme aims at creating awareness about climate change in a lively, interactive manner and promote bicycle and public transport as environment friendly, sustainable transportation solutions.
The programme will consist of a visit to various parts of the city on bicycles, low-floor green buses and the metro as part of a two-three hour guided tour.
“The programme would be organised on Sunday, June 7 along the cycle tracks of BRT corridor, including a 12-km bicycle ride and another 12-km bus ride,” said Nalin Sinha, DCC founder member.
The ‘Climate Bicycle & Bus Ride’ will start at 7.30 a.m. from Pragati Maidan Metro Station. Registration is free.
