"We condemn the action of our special correspondent of throwing shoe on Home Minister P Chidambaram during the press conference. Considering his condemnable act, the organisation is taking disciplinary action against him," the statement added.

Jarnail Singh was taken into custody but later let off for hurling his shoe during a press conference at the Congress headquarters here. He was unhappy over the minister's reply on the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
