Day 2 of Jet pilots' strike: Getting worse

The stand-off between the pilots and the management of Jet Airways persisted for the second day Wednesday, resulting in cancellations of 169 flights that forced an estimated 14,000 passengers to cancel their trips or shift to other airlines.

Pilots reporting sick on Wednesday: 432 of 760

Flights cancelled: 27 international and 194 domestic of 380 flights

Daily loss due to strike: Rs 30 crore (Rs 300 million)
