The much-awaited draw for the Delhi Development Authority's (DDA's) mega housing scheme was held Tuesday at its headquarters, Vikas Sadan.
After the completion of the process was around 2pm, DDA vice-chairman Balvinder Kumar said flats will be handed over to the lucky winners only after they are completely constructed with all amenities. Full results HERE
"All payments by those allotted flats will have to be made online...Almost all flats will be ready for hand over by end of December 2014."
The DDA 2014 housing scheme has 25,034 flats on offer. The highest conventration of flats is in Rohini Sector 34 and Sector 35 and Dwarka Sector 23-B. Many flats are also located in Jasola, Vasant Kunj, Mukherjee Nagar, Kalyan Vihar and Motia Khan.
The largest chunk of the flats — 22,627 out of total 25,034 — are one-bedroom units with a drawing room, kitchen and bathroom.
DDA will hold special camp at Vikas Sadan after 15 days, where allottees can collect their allotment letters by hand and submit documents.
"Altogether 3,914 flats in Rohini and 2,840 flats in Siraspur will be ready by March 2015," Kumar said.
The price of flats ranges from Rs 14-22lakh for the one-bedroom flats, Rs 41-69 lakh for two-bedroom flats and Rs 69 lakh to Rs 1.2 crore for three-bedroom flats. There are also 700 flats for the Economically Weaker Sections that are priced at Rs 5.87 lakh to Rs 9.9 lakh.
The DDA has promised to hand over all flats by March 2015.
