The protestors broke police barricades during their protest forcing cops to use water cannons to disperse the crowd.
The Congress workers were reportedly protesting against BJP’s demand for prime Minister’s resignation and it’s non-cooperation in the government’s attempts to pass various crucial bills by stalling the Parliament.
The budget session of the Parliament was adjourned sine die due to BJP members’ protests and walkouts. Crucial bills like the Food Security Bill could not be passed due to the adjournment.
