An eight-year-old girl who inadvertently boarded a train from the Capital, was rescued from Kanpur and reunited with her mother, police said.

An eight-year-old girl who inadvertently boarded a train from the Capital, was rescued from Kanpur and reunited with her mother, police said.

Rinki, a resident of Mangolpuri, approached police at New Delhi Railway station after the girl went missing.

“It was suspected that she might have boarded a train,” Ravindra Yadav, additional commissioner of police (Crime), said. A team was sent to Kanpur and the girl was rescued.
