The Petroleum Ministry said that a pilot project to check pilferage from LPG cylinders will be launched by November.
The Petroleum Ministry on Thursday said that a pilot project to check pilferage from LPG cylinders will be launched by November.
"By November, an anti-pilferage device will be put inside LPG cylinders and a pilot project to this effect will be launched on a pilot basis in Meerut," Minister of State for Petroleum Jitin Prasada said on Thursday while dedicating a city gas distribution network to the people of Ghaziabad.

The device will be installed inside the cylinder and will not allow gas to be transferred to other cylinders in a liquid state, a senior petroleum ministry official said.
