Disposed of Bhanwari body: Om Prakash Bishnoi

A gangster, who was recently arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the case related to the abduction and suspected murder of Jodhpur nurse Bhanwari Devi, has allegedly admitted to being part of the gang that disposed of her body.

The accused, Om Prakash Bishnoi, was a member of a gang led by his brother Bishna Ram Bishnoi who is also wanted in the case by the CBI.

“Shahabuddin, Sohan Lal Bishnoi and Baldev who had abducted Bhanwari (and are currently under arrest) had handed over her body to Bishna’s gang members— including Om Prakash—who were traveling in a green Scorpio jeep,” said a CBI source.

According to sources, Bishna Ram who belongs to Jaloda village had taken possession of Bhanwari's body and allegedly disposed it somewhere in his village. Based on the preliminary indications given by Om Prakash , the agency has scoured several sites in Jaloda in search of the body.
