One person was killed while another was injured in three separate road accidents reported in the city on Thursday.
In the first accident, a Delhi Police constable, alleged to be driving under the influence of liquor, rammed his speeding car into a TSR after hitting a police barricade in Vasant Kunj (north) area in the early hours.
The TSR driver, identified as Salender Paswan, suffered minor injuries in the accident that took place on Aruna Asaf Ali road. A case of rash and negligent driving causing hurt has been registered against the errant constable, identified as Raj Kumar.
In a separate accident, a 23-year-old man was crushed to death by an unknown vehicle in the Delhi Cantonment area. The accident took place at 9am near Dhaula Kuan bus stop on the ring road. The victim, Gaurav, was crossing the road when the accident occurred, police said.
The third accident occurred on Kasturba Gandhi Marg in which two cars collided with each other in the wee hours.
