On Friday, Metro commuters had a terrible as a technical snag held up Line 3 during the peak evening hours. A Dwarka-bound train was hit by a snag at 7.15pm disrupted metro service on the stretch.
About 1,200 people were stuck in the train near Mandi House for about 15 minutes. The train was later taken to the Yamuna Vihar depot and vacated there since the fault could not be found locally.
"This caused bunching of trains on the line. However, no train trip was cancelled and normality was restored within 20 minutes," said a DMRC spokesperson.
