According to the weatherman, the city will see a partly cloudy sky on Wednesday. Mist is also expected in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 30 degrees and 17 degrees Celsius, respectively.

On Tuesday, the maximum temperature was recorded as 29.3 degrees Celsius, three degrees below normal. The minimum temperature was recorded as 16.9 degrees, normal for this time of the year.

"The weather has been pleasant for a very long time this year. Usually towards the end of March we see temperatures rising to late 30s. This year we have not even switched on the fans to full," said Satish Kumar, a resident of Punjabi Bagh.

Cold winds had been blowing in the city for the past two days. According to the weatherman, it is because of these winds that the temperature has come down in the last two days.

The effect of the western disturbance is expected to last till the next week.
