In view of the Commonwealth Games, Haryana police has geared up to ensure improvement in the law and order scenario in Faridabad.

An officer of Additional Director General of Police will make sudden checks in police stations of Faridabad to know the ground reality in the police stations.

A high level meeting of senior police officers was held under the chairmanship of Additional Director General of Police (Law and order) BS Sandhu in this connection in Faridabad here on Monday.

The ADG gave ultimatum to the police officers heading police stations, saying they need to improve their working style. “

Why should complainants approach higher authorities for redressal of their grievances?”, Sandhu asked, adding that the public which have direct interaction with the cops posted in police stations, should be heard property and politely.

He said if the system did not improve, he would not hesitate to personally visit the police stations in Faridabad to know the exact ground reality. “The people coming to police stations should be satisfied.”
