Rumours about a possible terror strike on schools in the national capital forced some of them to close early as a precautionary measure.
A private school in posh Vasant Vihar locality of south Delhi got a telephone call on Wednesday, claiming that three bombs were planted in the premises.
The caller also claimed that other schools in New Delhi would be targeted soon. The call was traced to a PCO in south Delhi.
Bomb squads searched the school premises but did not find any explosive device.
Some of the schools in the area, the walled city and west Delhi remained closed today as a precautionary measure.
