In a fresh spell of bureaucratic reshuffle, the union home ministry has transferred four senior IAS officers out of Delhi.
Since the Delhi government is yet to find replacement for them, three of the four officers are yet to be relieved.
The transferred officials include principal secretary (finance) DM Spolia, principal secretary (transport) RK Verma, divisional commissioner Dharmendra and principal secretary (IT) Savitur Prasad. Spolia is one of the seniormost officers in Delhi and was appointed finance secretary in April this year.
While Spolia has been transferred to Puducherry, Verma has been sent to Goa and Dharmendra to Mizoram.
Prasad has been transferred to the union government, officials said.
Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit’s principal secretary (PS) MM Kutty has been given additional charge of the transport department.
“Since we are yet to get officers to replace transferred officials, only Verma has been relieved so far. The other officers will be relieved as and when we get the replacements,” a senior Delhi government official said.
