Four women, including a minor, were raped in four separate incidents in the city in the last two days. According to police, the accused were known to the victims in all four cases.

The first incident was reported from outer Delhi’s Aman Vihar where a 14-year-old girl alleged that her uncle had been allegedly raping her for the last six months. The matter came to light on Thursday after the girl narrated her plight to her parents.

The girl’s parents approached the Aman Vihar police to lodge a complaint against the accused, identified as Durgesh Kumar, who lives next to the victim’s house. A police officer said Durgesh had threatened to kill the girl if she revealed the incident. A case of rape was registered after medical examination confirmed rape. Durgesh, police said, was absconding.

In the second incident, two persons were arrested by the central district police after a 24-year-old woman accused them of raping her. The accused, identified as Sanju and Surender, were later nabbed.

The woman in her complaint alleged that on Wednesday, Sanju took her to an isolated place in Kamla Market and raped her. Later, Surender took her to his room and raped her.

The third incident was reported from east Delhi’s Anand Vihar where a 24-year-old man named Amit was arrested for allegedly raping his friend, a 20-year-old call center employee.

The last incident was reported from Alipur, where a 42-year-old businessman was arrested for allegedly raping his employee’s wife. The accused was identified as Rajesh Aggarwal.
