A gang of four was arrested after one kilogram of heroin worth around R1 crore, was recovered from them in outer Delhi’s Sultanpuri on Friday, police said.
“The four arrested have been identified as Anil Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, Taj Mohammed and Sageer Khan. The first three were apprehended from Sultanpuri this afternoon while Khan was arrested from Mustafabad following their interrogation,” said Arun Kampani, deputy commissioner of police (special cell).
“Khan told us that he had received supply of heroin from Guddu, his distant relative, and one Babloo, a resident of Mustafabad,” Kampani said, adding Babloo and Guddu were partners in the illegal drug trade and both of them used to receive drugs from Bareilli and Barabanki. Investigations are underway.
