The union cabinet cleared three major anti-corruption bills - citizen's charter bill, judicial accountability bill and the whistleblower's bill - in a crucial meeting on Tuesday.
It, however, deferred a decision on the food security bill. It will now be taken up at a meeting on Sunday, along with the lokpal bill.
"The discussion on the bill remained inconclusive. We are trying our best to introduce it in this session," food minister KV Thomas said.
The main objective of the meet was to blunt Team Anna's anti-graft campaign.
