As many as 17 teams, constituted to deal with “ills” plaguing the society, will start working within two days in Faridabad, official sources said.
“The teams were imparted training on how to deal with the public while implementing orders,” said Praveen Kumar, deputy commissioner, Faridabad. “These teams have to implement about half-a-dozen orders. We are confident that the teams will be out in the field within two days,” he said.
This is probably for the first time in the country that teams have been constituted at district level to check air and water pollution, misuse of water, burning of household waste, driving without licence or riding two-wheelers without helmet, use of polythene etc.
