Panic gripped the Sarai Khwaja area of Faridabad when residents spotted a bag containing the headless body of a woman.

According to the police, the 25-year-old woman was murdered. Her headless body was packed in a sack bag and thrown on a vacant plot known as Durga Builder area under the Sarai Khwaja police station.

“The woman has been brutally murdered. Her body was headless — without arms and legs,” said Bhram Singh, SHO, Sarai Khwaja police station. “We sent it to the BK Hospital on Tuesday, which referred it to PGI Rohtak,” he said.

“The murdered woman seems to be from a middle-class family,” the SHO said, adding that the post-mortem has been conducted. The body has been kept in BK Hospital.
