It was a sultry day today for Delhiites as high humidity coupled with above-normal mercury levels stole the charm of a holiday, prompting many to stay indoors.
The city woke up to a sunny morning with spiralling humidity after last night's showers.
The maximum was recorded at 35 degree Celsius, one degree above normal, while the minimum was recorded at 26.3, one degree below normal.
Maximum humidity surged to a high of 92%. The minimum humidity was recorded at 61%.
It appears there will be no more rains in the next couple of days in the Capital though the Weatherman did predict some thunder development tomorrow. "The temperature is likely to be between 26 and 35 degree Celsius tomorrow," a senior MeT official said.
