Hindustan goes to Bareilly

Hindustan, the third largest circulated Hindi newspaper in the country, just got bigger. The Hindi daily of HT Media Ltd has now entered Bareilly. The Bareilly edition of the newspaper was launched on Friday night.
Two academically brilliant students, Arifa and Vishesh Gangwar, dedicated the paper’s first edition to the people.
With this, Hindustan has 16 editions in the country and seven publication centres in Uttar Pradesh. Hindustan is the fastest growing Hindi newspaper in the nation’s most populous state. It is published from five other states.
Emiment littérateur and novelist Hridyesh and Bareilly Mayor Supriya Aron initiated the proceedings by lighting a lamp. Member of Parliament Praveen Singh Aron and poet Veren Dangwal were among the eminent personalities of the city present on the occasion.
General manager Samrat Nayak welcomed the guests while resident editor Anil Bhaskar delivered a vote of thanks. The two also shared the genesis of the Bareilly edition.
Editor-in-Chief Shashi Shekhar and Business Head Amit Chopra were also present on the occasion.
