The parliamentary panel looking into the Lokpal Bill could be reconstituted on Wednesday. The terms of all standing committees comes to an end on this day, according to reports.

The reconstitution of the panel assumes significance in the light of unhappiness in Team Anna's camp regarding some panel members like Manish Tiwari and Lalu Prasad Yadav. Meanwhile, Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari has recused himself from Parliament's Standing Committee going into Lokpal Bill.

According to some media reports, Congress MP Abhishek Singhvi is likely to continue as chairman of the standing committee on law and justice while former Samajwadi leader Amar Singh's continuation in the panel is in doubt.
