With an aim to clear students’ doubts on the Delhi University admission procedure, the Hindustan Times began its four-day counselling session on Thursday at Shah Auditorium, Civil Lines.
<b1>The panelists on day one comprised Minouti Chatterjee, principal of Kamla Nehru College, Laxmi, principal of Shaheed Rajguru College for Applied Science for Women, Suresh Kumar Garg, principal of DDU College, D.D. Chaturvedi, renowned author on Economics, a career expert and former Director of Guru Gobind Singh IP Affiliate, and Nishant Dayal, a career counsellor. Together, they tried to answer various queries related to the diverse fields of science, arts and commerce, put to them by the students.
“Among other doubts, the students wanted to know the career opportunities available immediately after graduation, which I think is the biggest question of all,” said Chatterjee. Chaturvedi handled queries related to commerce courses and demystified the students’ various admissions related confusions.
Ananya Chauhan, a B.Com aspirant, had this to say about the session: “Expert advice is always helpful. Before coming here, I had a lot of confusion over college selections. Now, after listening to them, I feel a lot relieved.” Those who could not make it to the venue on Thursday can attend the sessions, which will continue in the same venue, on Friday from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm. The sessions will be held at Kamala Nehru College, Khel Gaon Marg, on Saturday and Sunday.
