Three months after the murder of 43-year-old Nargis Juneja, the director of Kidzee playschool, the Gurgaon police arrested her husband, an exporter for her murder.

The police said the husband Rakesh Juneja had hired a professional hitman to kill his wife.

Nargis was murdered on December 1 at her residence in posh DLF City (Phase-III).

Two assailants armed with daggers had walked away with ease in the presence of a number of security guards and two dogs leaving behind the maid handcuffed and gagged.

Nargis’s body was spotted by her 19-year-old daughter, a student of fashion designing, in the evening.

According to Vikas Arora, the DCP (East), Rakesh Juneja was arrested on Sunday after the department having gathered “sufficient proof”.

Arora said Juneja, who had an extramarital relationship with one of his employees, had hired a professional killer to eliminate his wife. “We have arrested him and would produce him before the court on Monday to seek police remand. He has not disclosed the identity of the killers,” the DCP said.
