In a CCTV footage recovered from a sweet shop in north Delhi's Kashmere Gate, AAP leader Alka Lamba and her supporters are allegedly seen vandalising a shop during their anti-drug drive on Sunday.

In the footage, Lamba is seen with a group of people walking to the shop counter and throwing a billing machine after which a man next to her pushes everything off the table.

The Aam Aadmi Party lawmaker defended herself saying the video which showed her throwing things was taken after she was attacked during an anti-drug drive.

"I have seen the CCTV footage too. The police were standing there but did not act. After I was hit, we did not create a scene there," Lamba was quoted by the NDTV as saying.

On Sunday, the AAP leader received a minor head injury after an unidentified man pelted a stone at her during an anti-drug drive in Kashmere Gate. She was taken to a nearby hospital where she was discharged after being treated for her injuries.

AAP leader Ashutosh had said that Lamba was targeted as she was the only one who got hit in crowd and the attack was a deep conspiracy and the AAP will fight back. He also hinted at a Bharatiya Janata Party leader's involvement in the attack saying the suspect was caught from a shop which was owned by BJP MLA Om Prakash Sharma.
