N.R. Narayana Murthy, chief mentor at Infosys, is back in the new advisory panel set up by the Central Vigilance Commission.
Sources said Murthy was re-nominated to the Vigilance Advisory Council — a body with persons of great eminence to advise and guide the commission — since he would go out of his way to volunteer his services to come up with technology-backed solutions to improve governance.
Others who have made it to the panel include right to information campaigner Arvind Kejriwal, retired police officers Julio F. Ribeiro and G.S. Rajagopal, former CVC P. Shankar, writer Gurcharan Das and former SBI MD P. V. Maiya, former chairman of the Public Services Enterprises Board RSSLN Bhaskarudu.
