Finance minister Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate the 31st India International Trade fair (IITF) at Pragati Maidan at 11am on Monday.
“The timing of the inauguration has been rescheduled to 11am instead of 11:30am,” said a senior India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) official.
More than 22 countries and 27 states and union territories are participating in the 14-day-long annual event. The first five days will be for business visitors. The fair will open for the general public on November 19. The theme for the fair is Indian Handicrafts: The magic of gifted hands. This year, West Bengal and Jharkhand are the partner states.
The tickets will be available at all Metro stations and ITPO counters. The organisers expect visitors' number to be around 15 lakh this year.
