On Tuesday, St. Stephen’s College began interviewing students for selection into undergraduate courses, a process that will continue till July 1.
“My interview went well. I’ll get through,” said Udita Bhattacharjee from Assam, with 69 per cent. Many students seem unfazed, but many others are edgy. Even with a score of 92.3 per cent, Varun Joshi looked nervous ahead of facing the selection panel.
“I’m extremely nervous for tomorrow’s interview,” he said. While students are also exploring options outside Delhi University, they admit the prestige associated with St. Stephen’s College cannot be overlooked. “My classes have already begun in Bangalore, but I hope I will clear the interview at St. Stephen’s,” said Sukant.
