I will definitely vote. It is very important to do so. Since the time I turned 18, I have voted in every election.
The first time I voted, it felt wonderful to have the opportunity to contribute to the world’s largest democracy. I felt as if I had been given a great responsibility, which I continue to cherish till date.

While voting, it is necessary to make an informed choice. Rather than blindly voting, we must make the effort to read up on all the candidates and parties to identify which one will be good for the country. We must select the right candidates and the right people, who will make a difference.

Unless you vote, you cannot complain about the country or the system. You have no moral right to do so because you have voluntarily decided not to have your say.

Honesty, education and integrity, are the personal qualities one should look for in a candidate. Of course what is really important to consider is looking at how they can take the country forward.

I am into sports and represent my country and it makes me a very patriotic person. When I became the first Indian to ski to the North Pole and the South Pole within a year, the first thing that came to my mind was the tricolour.

I do not vote for a candidate or a party, unless I believe they can really do something for the country.
