The musical delights of AR Rahman were played, so were some of Stevie Wonder's most memorable compositions as the presidential residence tried to floor one of its most charismatic guests -- Barack Obama.

Rahman's anthem Jai Ho reverberated the air besides the eternal Awara Hoon, as the Naval Band played music to entertain the visiting US President and his wife Michelle at the presidential banquet hosted in their honour.

Also on the music menu was another of Rahman's composition Dil hai Chhota Sa from the movie Roja.

While there is no escaping Rahman in India, the US President was also treated to some all-time classics of Stevie Wonder including the unforgettable I just called to say...as well as Part-time lover...

Another notable tune that was rendered by the Naval band was Eric Clapton's Wonderful Tonight.

The music was an added charm of the evening that was aimed to appeal to the Obama's culinary tastes with tables full of traditional Indian dishes.
