Jet Airways, the largest private airlines, is launching its daily flight to Doha from the national capital from January next year.
Jet would operate daily flight from January 21, 2010 on Delhi-Doha sector with Boeing 737-800 aircraft after permission from the government.
"The launch of our daily services to Doha from Delhi will cater to the strong customer demand for direct flights on the route, and will also connect travellers from Doha to Jet Airways' 61-destination strong network spanning the length and breadth of India and beyond," Nikos Kardassis, Acting CEO of, Jet Airways, said.
Flight 9W 554 will depart from Delhi at 1950 hrs, arriving in Doha at 2150 hrs while on the return leg, flight 9W 553 will depart Doha at 2250 hrs and arrive Delhi at 0500 hrs, a statement from the airline said.
Delhi would be the third city, after Mumbai and Kochi, which would be connected to Doha.
Apart from Doha, Jet flies to Kuwait, Bahrain, Muscat, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Jeddah, Sharjah and Riyadh in the Gulf.
Jet, with its low cost arms - Jet Konnect and JetLite, has a fleet strength of 111 aircraft and operates over 410 flights daily.
